Over charge on Labor

Over $800 labor charged for 2.5 hours of work for a tune-up and thermostat replacement. I was charged separate labor charges for fuel injection service and spark plug replacement. Also was charged $110 for cooling system exchange. Very unreasonable to say the least!!

Sun Auto cracked my engine block

Sun Auto cracked my engine block
Sun Auto cracked my engine block - Image 2
On August 7th, my 2017 Kia Optima Hybrid was brought to this location: Sun Auto Service #2057 702-216-**** 4539 Blue Diamond Rd Las Vegas NV 89139 For a flickering engine oil pressure light. They confirmed this and attempted to replace it, but then informed me that they could not due to the old one falling apart (exact language on the invoice) and that the car had metal filings. Eric Esteban was "nice" enough to have it towed to Towbin Kia for warranty service, where it was later confirmed that sun auto cracked the engine block where the oil pressure sensor was at. I informed this sun auto of this, sent pictures, and still demanded I produce proof from Kia that the engine had metal filings in it, ignoring the fact they broke it and the picture sent to Mr. Eric Esteban who did not care. Please provide remittance for my car, KBB value of $15k.

Online Scheduled Appointments is a Scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I made an appointment to the nearest location to me. I received a confirmation email saying Im in the books for the next day and signed with the signature of the store manager. I show up early on time and the manager has no idea what Im talking about even though his name is on the email. I show the website and email confirmation with his name on it and all that he can do is for me to wait several hours before my service can begin. With work and family obligations I cant just wait around for hours so I had to leave. That was the purpose of the appointment. No attempt to rectify the situation and the corporate website doesnt allow you to talk to people or provide phone numbers or respond to emails. The chat thingy timed out after typing my long explanation because I was waiting on a response on the other end. They wasted my time and money. I dont know if this is purposeful trickery or just a poorly run business?

Customer Service

Good morning, I have been going to your W Ann Rd/Simmons location in Las Vegas, NV since before you owned it. My concern is: I went there just recently, the week of 7/17/2023. I made an appointment for Saturday 7/15/2023 at 2 pm. with the new manager who advised in our conversation that they have changed most of their staff and he is new. So my daughter showed up at 1:50 pm to have my car issue looked at and oil changed. The new manager advised her that there was no appointment set and that I probably set it online when I should have done it in person. WOW! than take down your online sight. He proceeded to advise her he only has two people scheduled and gives her their names. She phones me and I advise I was there in person and spoke with the new manager who set the appt. I am now on the phone and here him repeat he only has two people scheduled and I am not one of them. He still denied and insisted I did it online at the other store down the road. My daughter left. I left work and showed up at your store (the face on him lol) only for your manager to be dishonest about the conversation with my daughter. I heard for myself on the phone with my daughter. Ok. I confronted him and stated you don't remember me from last week with the gray Toyota Camry. I? He tells me oh yes! I advised that was my daughter trying to bring my car for its appointment. the manager advised me that my daughter must have misunderstood him. He states he advised her that I am in the system but he can't work on my car unless she leaves it with him, because he has other cars ahead of mine and he can't take them off the lifts for me. I advised that was not the conversation I heard and he just looked at me and his employees all cleared the room. "I hate to speculate but they knew what had taken place". I stated to him so you did not know I was the one on the phone with her doing a three way clear the confusion of the appt. He just repeated himself again about other cars ahead of mine. That's fine, I get you get backed up. But the communication conflict concerns me as to how easy it was for him to be dishonest about what really took place. With this being said he was dishonest, my guess is he forgot to save my appt. and I will never return to your shop again and will gladly relay this situation to anyone I know, simply because what else is he being dishonest about?? WON't TRUST HIM WITH MY VEHICLE. Much appreciated for your audience on this matter. Just an FYI.

Not being paid by this company, very shady business practice. Its illegal to not pay your employees on their scheduled payday. I would hope they dont treat their customers with this same level of carelessness and incompetence. Its been a week since my payday and no one can tell me where my money is

Buying vehicles from customers

So I witnessed this happen at Rons Automitive store#8121. A customer brought in a Toyota Matrix that had a check engine light on, the manager Allen Croft, handled the customer, the vehicle had a defective ignition coil so Allen gave the customer an expensive estimate for repair, the customer was shocked at how mutch it would cost to repair and declined any more service, so Allen offered to purchase the vehicle from the customer, he offered $500.00, the distraut customer accepted the offer and produced a title for the vehicle, Allen paid her and took the vehicle, he had our crew do some minor tune up work on the Toyota Matrix And it no longer had a check engine light on, next Allen sold the vehicle for over $5000.00. I Suppose Allen felt intitled to profit off of company business and he deserved the windfall but it seems to me he mis informed the customer and took advantage.

Issue with work done on my vehicle

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Sun auto on mueshkee rd. In Cypress TX. Is absolutely awful! After bringing our vehicle in multiple times with new charges and supposed repairs each time for the check engine light on...the check engine light is still on! This time we plugged in engine diagnostics ourselves and it shows the exact problem they charged us for. Now they refuse to correct the problem or even look at it again. So now my wife has lost several days from work, spent several thousand dollars and NOTHING has changed.

Sun Auto - Complaint
I got a oil change at sun auto at flamingo and hualapai since then my car is leaking oil. O was never told the 2nd time too when I went to get thr oil leak checked that anything further was needed. But the oil leak dint stop, I go back at sun auto n the manager this time tells me that it will be 2600 dollars for some oil pan change and the 1st two times they did a favor for us. Whereas, nothing was communicated to me or my husband. I confronted him about the issue n his use of words when he said he did a favor for us ,and that our car is a crap, and he gave me the car key and did not fix the car oil leak when it all started after we got the oil change at sun auto. You can see the big puddle of oil leak in my garage in the picture

Brake service need help

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
ITwo months ago my wifes brakes failed. We took the vehicle, a 2015 Lincoln CRX, to the new Sun City Auto on Volunteer. They replaced the master cylinder and another part . The bill was $1200. A month later, the brakes failed again. We took the vehicle back to Sun City Auto. They said another problem occurred with the brake line? The cost to repair it would be $1500. I told them I could not afford it. The manager said he would cover the maintenance but the part was $1200. The vehicle is sitting in my driveway with no brakes and Im out $1200. I am requesting someone at Sun Auto to either reimburse us for our first service or fix the brake problem at no charge. Money is tight and I dont have the funds for another $1200 brake job that should have been repaired the first time.

I had an issue with my car after getting serviced at sun auto.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I took my car in for an oil change and the splash guard was not installed properly and it fell and dragged. It was damaged to the point of not being able to fix it. I took it back to the location and they refused to acknowledge there error. I emailed the customer service website and Beto took care of everything. He is the reason Im giving sun auto a second chance.

Overcharged on a waterpump

I went to sun auto in cedar park texas to have my truck fixed because i was recommended by a friend who works there. Thinking i would be treated fairly the performance and quality was good until i found that i had been charged $245.00 more then what the dealers would had charged me. Read the brochure that they hand out to customers how they talk about honesty and integrity. Not a good way to start a new business with a dishonest manager. I will never recommend any one to go to this repair facility. Thought I had found a honest repair shop.
